Not a problem as long as it is the correct weight for your engine. 

Is it Dexos certified?

Once it's the correct weight and it meets any required specifications or certifications (check your owners manual) it will be fine 

Royal Purple is fine if you just want to throw away good money. Any synthetic blend from Mobil 1, Pennzoil, etc. works just as good and is a lot cheaper. Let me guess though: you believe them when they say it is ok to change once every 12k miles? 

I wouldn't recommend listening to that marketing BS.

Gave RP a couple of tries years ago, had problems both times. Won't touch any their products, think they're overrated. 

most synthetic oil is good just change it every 5k miles regardless pls dont ruin ur engine doing it every 10-15k

i personally use mobil i just buy 2 when theyre on sale
