New Camry 2.5L have enough power?

Looking into a new Camry and can't afford v6.  Does the 4 cylinder have enough power to not make it super boring to drive?  Not looking for a sports car by any means but don't want it to be dreadful to drive either.  And before suggesting a used v6, I don't like the infotainment placement of the 2020 or earlier.  Much prefer the new look.

Thanks!

The best thing for you is to test drive one of them and fill the car with all of your family/friends to check the car performance.

In my opinion, the new i4 engines are more powerful than old ones and definitely enough for a family sedan.

I just did what I never thought I would do and bought a new car. Got a 2020 Camry with the 2.5l engine.

I find it to have plenty of power for everyday driving. In fact, it surprises me with the pickup it has for a 4 cyl naturally aspirated engine. The 8 speed tranny also helps keep it in the power band when needed. Gas mileage is very good. We got 43 on a recent 200 mile road trip with the A/C on. The only thing I am a little unhappy about is excessive road noise on rough roads at speed.

This car actually has 3 hp more than the 6 cyl DOHC engine in my daily driver. Of course, it's 20 years old. It doesn't have the low end torque of the 6 cyl, but if you put your foot in it, the Camry will out accelerate the 6.

For me nothing is enough power lol.

I would say yes for daily driving and you arent looking at carrying tons of stuff and towing .

In general yes but it not racer

The 4 cylinder has all the power you will ever need for regular driving, with some to spare!

Plus, the 4 cylinder will be less expensive to maintain and repair throughout it's lifespan.

Test drive the 4 cylinder under the conditions you will use it.

I'm sure that you will be impressed and if you buy it you will be happy for years.

My suggestion is to rent one for a few days. Use it as you would use your own car and see if it works for you.
