Riding Lawn Mower Leaking Oil

Hello Scotty,

My circa 1980's riding lawn mower is leaking oil.  The technician said it's old and cannot be fixed.  I saw one of your videos are an additive polymer sealant that might help in low pressure situations.  Is there anything I can add or do to extend the life of the motor on this old riding lawn mower?

Thank you!

Where is it leaking? Crank seal? Probably too worn for AT-205 to help, and that stuff won't be available until sometime next year anyway unless you can find some old stock somewhere. Whatever part is leaking needs to be replaced. If the engine is from one of the major small engine manufacturers parts should be available for it.

Any so called "technician" who tells you it can't be fixed is an Apprentice To The Village Idiot.  The only thing in this world that can't be fixed is a broken heart.
