I know Camry 2005-2006 are solid (2006 is better of course) but would anyone consider a V6 option to be solid as well? Just came a cross a 2006 Camry V6 152k for 3.5k and was debating if it would be a good long-term option until the market maybe stabilizes if ever 😅

Seller replaced timing belt (I know this is pretty important) and changed oil recently.

I don't think the V6 engine has the oil burning problem of the 4-cylinder model. It will be more difficult to work on and more expensive to maintain than the 4-banger though. Assuming it's an automatic, careful of that since many people seem to skip maintenance. Be sure to have a good mechanic check it over.

I'm convinced to stick with a V4 😅 Are there any easy V6 engines to work on?

No one has sold a V4 in the U.S. for many years. (Saab had one in the 1960s.) There are plenty of inline 4 cylinder engines and of course Subaru's boxer fours. All the V6 engines I've seen in front-drive configuration at least are difficult to work on, at a minimum requiring things like removal of the intake manifold to get at the rear spark plugs. There's just a lot more complexity.
