Steering return issue

My 2010 mustang 4.0 v6 steering does not fully return when you turn, it needs some help . Lower control arms complete with ball joints and bushing, strut and strut mount, sway bar links and bushing , inner and outter tie rod ends have all been replaced and alignment, steering  shaft has been checked. Can this be caused by a steering rack. The original wheel and tire where 225/60/17 and we're replaced with 255/40/19. When I check Fords website and others I see different steering rack base on wheel size. Help.

So if I replace the rack should I get the replacement for the one that came with the car with 17 wheels or go with the one that is for 19 and 20 inch wheels since the wheels were changed.and how would I determine if it is the rack that is causing the issue.

Scotty doesn't answer follow-up questions. If you still have the original wheels that came with the car, swap the front wheels out for the originals. If this fixes the issue, it appears that your prior research it right, and you need to change the rack if you plan on keeping the enlarged wheels.

Of course it can be caused by the steering wreck having a problem. The steering rack has to sender itself by having equalized pressure on each side. If it isn't working right, it won't center
