Suarez V Nissan Headlamp Settlement?
Good day, I received a couple letters in the mail over the past year about a Lawsuit against Nissan over dimming headlamp assemblies in 2013 to 2018 Altimas. I always thought the car's low beams were pretty pathetic but the high beams are good. In the settlement stuff they say submit a form and Nissan will replace the assemblies for free. But researching online several owners have reported the Dealerships are giving them some issues trying to confused them or prevent them from submitting a claim on time. Have you all heard anything about this ongoing issue, I will be submitting my claim here shortly and not looking forward to dealing with the Dealership.

@InThrustWeTrust Suarez V Nissan, Suarez was the one who brought forth the Lawsuit against Nissan. That's just how it's worded on the paperwork that was mailed to me.
They are called stealerships for a reason. File your claim and when it comes to the dealer put on the gorilla suit if you have to and stick to your guns.
Dealerships will always try to avoid doing repairs/recalls/warranties that do not have profit for them. You also need to put on metal shoes for when they want to run you around to avoid doing it.
Ha ha, ya I just took my 2014 Nissan altima to get headlamps replaced and they said they were ok even though I showed them the class action suit. Now I can't find any info on who to contact with the lawsuit for help.
I just got my headlights replaced after going to the shop a lot of times because he would always say it’s on back order look sir u been saying that since I brought this matter to y’all attention so I kept worrying them until I went up there after work again an he said ur headline came Whew these men get in there feeling when u don’t us there number Chile <profanity removed> sad in now it’s another lay suite out for Nissan transmission smh I knew something was wrong with my transmission because it wouldn’t speed up my car when I stop or pull off when I’m at a red light

Mi dealer en Puerto Rico se niega a reemplazar mis faros de mi nissan 2015,dicen que los probaron y estan bien...nunca vi que prueba le hicieron.
