2014 F150 5.0L Transmission clunk noise when shifting into drive

Hey Scotty I have a 2014 F150 4WD with the 5.0 V8. I just rolled over 43k miles and the truck runs like a clock. Only thing is the other day I noticed when I merged onto the highway towing a load I felt a hard clunk from the drivetrain. Later that day I noticed whenever I went from park/reverse to drive it made them at hard clunk again. Should I get the transmission flushed or any drivetrain maintenance I should consider? I feel like 43k miles is young to be having any transmission issues. I’d like to keep it in good shape it’s been a real nice truck. Thanks!

I am pretty sure your driveshaft is binding.  Needs to be greased.

I’ll watch this and see if this helps! Thanks!

Start with checking all your transmission mounts.

Never flush engine oil or transmission fluid. Change the fluid at the manufacturer recommended interval or every 50,000 miles, if it’s one of those sealed for life transmissions.

Did you scan the car for any codes?

No codes, everything runs like it should. I’ll have to check that and see if that makes a difference. Some of my friends that have these 2010-2014 models have had issues with theirs but they’re well over 100k miles and how much more than I do. Thanks!
