What ford should i get to haul around a 1800lb truck campe. I'm thinking an F250, I'm not sure if i should go with a 5.4 V8 or a diesel. Which years should i look into and what engines/ years if i go diesel ? Any thoughts? 🙂 /p>
an f250 is a good choice, you want to make sure you have extra payload capacity just in case. When it comes to gas or diesel, the question is what kind of gas mileage you want. A diesel will be more expensive, but it will get significantly better gas mileage when your hauling.
What would be extra payload capacity, can you explain that a bit more I'm a little confused! Thanks!
payload capacity is how much the truck can haul in the bed. you don't want to max out your payload or towing capacity because it can cause premature wear to the suspension or powertrain, and it would make the truck handle very poorly. people generally stay within 80% of the max payload or towing capacity
F150 should be more than enough for your needs.
