Very low annual mileage trans/diff/coolant/brake fluids

I just bought a 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 2wd Extracab 5.7 115k odo from a family member. It was meticulously maintained and I have the maintenance records for the past 10 years or so. I'm retired and only put about 5k miles a year on a vehicle. I can't find any solid info on when to change the trans/diff/coolant/brake fluids on a regularly driven '07 Tundra, much less a lightly driven one. It would take 6-12 years to get 30-60k on this truck. Seems like a long time on these items.

What do you recommend as far as time intervals on trans/diff/coolant/brake fluids on low annual mileage vehicles?

You should replace all of your fluids, regardless of mileage, every 5-to-7 years. Coolant, tranny fluid, differential fluid, etc. all deteriorate whether or not you drive the allotted mileage, because it's always exposed to the elements. Most containers say X number of years, or X number of miles, whichever occurs first.

@justin-shepherd Thank you for your response. I guess I should have added that I usually pay to have services done (because of some physical limitations) therefore I don't see the the info on the containers. Having said that, what a great idea to get that information. I didn't think of that so thank you very much. Seems so obvious now. I'm looking for this to be another future million mile Tundra, so I'll definitely err on the side of caution.

You can also read them from bottles you see at the store, for example, green coolant means you'd change it once every 3 years, or 36k miles. Check the coolant you have, and get that same coolant. Your owner's manual is actually great for this! I only have one good hand, now, I had brain cancer last year. I still try to fix stuff when it breaks as much as possible on my own, so I don't need to pay mechanics to do it, haha.

@justin-shepherd Wow, Justin! I have always appreciated your kind and generous responses… but now, even more. 👍
