I'm wondering are VW polos more reliable since they swapped out the DSG transmission in favor for an AiSin 6 speed torque converter unit and they have swapped out the 1.2 TSI engine for a 1.6 NA engine

Seems to getting better but still lots of over-engineered parts and plastics. I would not advice to buy it.
