Volvo cam position sensors codes

2012 S60 T5 2wd 139k miles

My daughter overfilled the oil and drove approximately 200 miles until timing codes. I drained 9 quarts out of the car then did a 2nd oil change after using stp synthetic engine flush. Put synthetic in again and a new filter. Replaced both valve timing control valves and cam shaft position sensors. The car is running perfect after about a 90 mile drive. The car sat for an hour and I took it for a hard spin and still ran perfect but the cam position codes came back. Cleared them and started back up and they didn't come back. Going to try again today. So do you think the computer is still trying to correct itself? I bought a innova 5610 today so what do I need to check?

Thanks for your youtube channel. It's awesome!

Alternator test failed. Installed a new battery yesterday. I'll let you know if the alternator fixes it

Well, unfortunately if you put way too much oil in, you can actually start bending metal parts inside the engine. In which case the sensor codes will pop because they are no longer perfectly aligned because something is bent. Are you sure that's not a coincidence that the sensors popped up just because she put in too much oil. Sometimes the sensor is either break or if your timing change is stretched, it'll keep popping the codes because they're not aligned cuz the chain is stretched
