When to start using ATS carbon cleaner - 2021 Tahoe 5.3 w/ 13,000 miles

Hi Scotty (and forum users)!  Recently discovered your channel and really enjoy the content and help!  Have a 2021 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L Z71 with 13K miles.  Love the space and "king of the road" feel.  It's GM's new L84 iteration with Dynamic Fuel Management, which can shut off up to 7 cylinders in different (random?) combinations so it's not the same cylinders always being turned off.  Since it's GDI, wondering when I should start using ATS carbon cleaner.  Would running the engine cleaner every 15K or 20K miles hurt anything?  Assuming ATS can get it back in stock, as it's currently not available on their website.

Also, checked for the recent recall on the rear diff and my VIN is OK (phew!).  Appreciate any feedback and comments.  Thanks everyone.

Rather than use the can cleaners I’d install an oil catch can. I’d change the oil every 3k mi and change spark plugs every 60k mi. I’d use the can right now and after put that catch can on.

Find a way to deactivate the DFM.  If you change your oil, filter and PCV valve regularly (3-5K miles), you shouldn't need an oil catch can.  It will void any warranty you have anyway.

Thanks for the feedback @USAFdozerpilot and @doc.  Seems like more frequent oil changes are in my future. FWIW, the oil change algorithm pegs my changes around 7,500 miles.  I do baby it when I drive.  Oil is cheap (relatively speaking), engines are not.

Started experimenting with "drive mode L9" to disable the DFM and wow, what a difference!  Think it's the first time I felt all 8 cylinders firing.  Noticed it upshifts later in the RPM band.  And stays in a lower gear when coasting...kind of like sport mode...or when hill descent is activated.  It also disables the auto stop/start feature.
