| 2010 Buick Lacrosse, multiple problems broke the bank | 31Relevance | 4 years ago | MotherMailbox | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I've spent $3000 on my Buick Lacrosse 2010, 75k mileage, first the car was violently shaking and powered off mid drive and the break pedal locked up. Had to have it towed to a local shop where they completely replaced the engine etc. That wasn't the problem cuz it still studdered and sometimes all three bars would go from 0 to max like a windshield wiper. I took it to a dealership where they 'fixed' whatever the problem was. Day after leaving the dealership check engine light pops up, I'm broke at this point so I don't bother taking it back. I have my brothe ... | |||||

| 2010 Buick Lacrosse no start,key doesn't come out of ignition | 31Relevance | 4 years ago | davidoberstar | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| ... key wouldn't come out of the ignition. I had him try moving the steering wheel around and make sure it was in park. Still nothing. I had him try jumping it but still nothing. ( He never paid much attention to me working on vehicles. I can only hope he had the cables on right and good connection). Car is 2010 Buick Lacrosse with about 160,000 miles and an automatic. He said he hasn't had any problems with the battery before but he's had the car for 4 years and it's the battery that came in the car. | |||||
| 2007 Buick LaCrosse coolant leak | 31Relevance | 5 years ago | Mountainrose | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. Automatic transmission. 150,000 miles. I have had a coolant leak since I bought the car. The car has not run hot with me because I keep a constant check to make sure that the reservoir has water. I can drive the car about a hundred miles and then I have to put 3/4 gallon of water in the plastic reservoir. I have replaced the water pump, radiator and thermostat and it has not stopped the water leak. The water is leaking from beside the front passenger wheel below the reservoir. You can see it puddled on the ground. I have wo ... | |||||
| Answer to: Can a 2017 Buick Lacrosse Tow more | 31Relevance | 5 years ago | Whatchamacallit | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| The 2017-2019 Buick Lacrosse 3.6L V6 has cylinder deactivation in that engine, and long term can potentially wear out/damage the engine. Due to poor GM quality in general, some of those cylinder deactivation systems can still malfunction even if disabled (can only be disabled via aftermarket only). Aside from that, expect random electrical issues as it ages. If this is a car you need for the long haul, I would look at other vehicles. | |||||
| 2005 Buick LaCrosse coolant leak | 31Relevance | 5 years ago | Dave V | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty my friend has a 2005 Buick Lacrosse with an automatic and 55k miles and has a coolant leak that isn't leaking external on the engine and we believe it's the heater core since you only smell coolant inside the car and no where else. The cooling system is horrible corroded and will be flushed. My question is what stop leak would be best since he can't afford to fix it correctly and it's not losing a large amount but just enough that he has to be adding every now and then. | |||||

| Scotty I recently purchased a 2005 Buick Lacrosse from my neighbor with 15,000 original miles. It has the 3800 series 3 engine. The oil was changed, new air and cabin filters, and new tires. For a car that old and little use is there any preventive maintenance I should do? Oh, I checked it with a OBD II code reader, no codes. | |||||
