| I recently purchased a 2003 Lincoln town car it has 133XXX miles on it, It’s making a squealing noise only when it starts then goes away after a few minutes. The previous owner took it to the shop and they said the source of noise was coming from Electric Cooling fan. They replaced the cooling fan assembly, thermostat and o-ring. The squealing didn’t go away. So I need your help. The noise is more noticeable if I do not touch the car overnight then turn it on in the morning. What can the problem be? | |||||

| Hello Scotty and Moderators! I have a 1999 Lincoln town car with 93,000 miles on it. It had sat for many years before we got it up and running again a while back. The coolant hasn’t been changed in at least ten years and has turned brown/black/rust colored. Should I drain and fill, or flush the system? | Hi Scotty, I recently got a 06 Lincoln town car W/129K miles. The paint is in immaculate shape. But there're a few rust spots (pictures are in this ) I asked two individual person who does body work on Facebook Marketplace. One of them quoted me a minimum of a grand to fix. Another one quoted me 600-800bucks. I haven't asked any body shop yet. I really like the car, but it seems like everyone is trying to rip me off at this point. | I recently bought a 1998 Lincoln town car with 90k miles. It came with a lot of oil change and tire rotation receipts but nothing else. I found the owners manual and maintenance booklet and saw things like coolant changes, transmission fluid changes, and PCV replacements that should have been done thousands of miles ago. Are these things I should be having done now since I have no evidence that they’ve been done? Is there anything else I should be having done to keep this car running a good long time? | |||||

| Hello I love your videos, you helped me solved quite few problems. Now I like to ask which spark plugs would you recommend for 2003 Lincoln town car executive model. | I'm interested in a two owner, 1988 Lincoln town car with about 102k miles under the belt and with an asking price of $2,950. I've been doing some research into it but there seems to be some mixed feelings. I was wondering if this would be a reliable, durable first car and if the old dinosaur would be able to daily drive for a hand full of years, especially in the snow and cold. | Hello Scotty. I have a 1996 Lincoln town car 4.8L with around 200K with automatic transmission. There are no codes. The issue is that the A/C Blower, Interior Lights, Power Windows work when the key is in the ACC position, but as soon as you turn the engine on, and is running, none of those accessories work and turn on/off sporadically. I have a new alternator, battery is good (both have been tested good), and I just installed a new Ignition Switch yesterday, but still have the same issue. Please Help. Thank you Scotty. | |||||

| Lincoln town car Engine Ticking Hello everyone, I have a 1999 Lincoln town car with 93,000 miles on it. The valve train is ticking a bit, nothing crazy but it’s definitely ticking. It’s always done this, as far as I know, and I’ve been around the car my whole life (it was my grandpa’s). I heard somewhere that it’s totally normal for one of those 4.6L V8s to have some ticking and it’s nothing to worry about, but I just thought I’d double check lol.
