| Neither are very good quality to be honest. Jeep consistently ranks poorly in the consumer report papers for reliability and Buick isn't far behind. After working for GM for a decade, I'd still go with the Jeep as I've got too much first hand experience with Buick to ever buy one. But don't expect it to be trouble free. | |||||

I tried recharging it and the right side is blowing cooler, then I noticed this pipe freezing up as seen in the video below. Is this a blockage issue rather than a leak? The compressor is spinning.

Our 2019 Buick Enclave has been ok so far despite needing a torque converter replacement soon after buying the car new.

| I drive a 1999 Buick Century (Custom). The digital odometer has been broken for some time, and I estimate the mileage around 200k. It is an automatic. For anyone answering, if you know the answers to any of these questions, I very much welcome and appreciate your knowledge. 1.) Here's my main question: At what setting should I set the torque wrench when tightening the axle nut when I put everything back on after replacing the front driver side wheel bearing? I put the car in gear and start to move the car about a minute latter or so the car smooths out and the check engine light goes off. | Newly purchased used car - mechanic claims "engine is bad" | 12Relevance | 2 years ago | zzotto21 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Went with elderly friends to a Toyota dealer because they needed a reliable car. Lots of medical issues and they need a car that starts and gets them to their doctors appointments. Their Buick died an I have been lending them my Sienna van for weeks. They bought a 2017 Toyota Camry SE with 68,000 miles on it. It has the 2.5L 4-Cyl DOHC 16V w/ Dual VVT-i engine. Toyota service records show consistent oil changes at around 5,000 miles or less, except for 2 lapses, wherein the oil was changed at 9 months. Most miles between changes was 5,000 or less, except o ... | |||||

| Answer to: Aluminum block GM/ Land Rover/ Ford engine. Tick tick | 12Relevance | 3 years ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Ford had nothing to do with the aluminum V8 used in those old Land Rovers. It was originally a Buick/GM engine used in the 1961-1963 Buick Special and other GM compacts at the time. The engine was modified by Rover after GM sold it off to them so even if GM parts are still available I would not count on them fitting. | |||||

| Scotty, Love your videos. I have a suggestion for a video to educate the public on the dirty tricks that car dealers do. I am in the market for a 2024 Rav4 XLE. I obtained a KBB trade-in of 17,983 with a range of 16K to 19K and an Instant Cash Offer of 16414. I am trading a 2018 Buick Lacrosse Essece with 56000 miles in excellent condition. I took the KBB paper to one deler and they offered 11K and told me the KBB was no good. Another dealer offered me 17K but wanted to charge me 999 for docs, 1699 for dealer appearance pkg. Needless to say, I drive a buic ... | |||||

| Hey Scotty, I see this 2004 Buick LeSabre online for $1,500. The seller says that the buyer has to either get it towed or bring a battery. They said it's either a battery issue or electrical. From the pictures the body looks decent (I have to physically look at it to confirm though). I contacted the person and asked what was the problem that gave evidence to possible electrical issues or maybe just the battery? They said they don't know the battery wasn't getting charged. Should I offer way less (like $400-$500), if accepted buy the car and fix those pos ... | |||||

| My father bought a new Buick Riviera many decades ago from the local Buick dealer. This dealer and my father were very close friends. Dad owned and ran a shop up the street from his pal's dealership. When the new car was delivered, my dad asked me to check the "air in the spare" before he took off on a beach trip. I opened the trunk and immediately noticed that 2 lines for the 'rear air shock system' were disconnected. I hooked the lines back up to the shocks and proceeded to check all of the fluids. The oil dipstick showed no oil, barely damp from the machi ... | |||||
