| I have a 2012 Prius (81000 miles). When the car is OFF, I can push the brake pedal all the way to the floor. Recently, I had the ABS replaced because of ABS, Brake, and Skid lights. ($1700) After this repair, I asked about the brake pedal all the way to the floor and he said that it stops on a dime, there is now no code, and no warning lights. Is it safe as is? What causes this when the car is off? | |||||

| I took it to a mechanic to change the master cylinder and I brung the part myself and had him do a brake flush as the brake fluid was dirty. Initially it worked but I had to bring it back to him as the pedals started going to the floor again so I had him bleed it some more. It worked after that but now when the brakes heat up they go to the floor again. | |||||

| ... one on the drivers side leak where the window pillar meets the dash. 😉 You can check it out by opening the sunroof and find the drain lines, use a squirt bottle and inject water. Then see if water ends up on the floor there’s your problem. If it ends up on the ground inside the wheel well it’s functioning correctly. If you are unsure where the drain lines are, pull up a Volvo parts website and look at the sunroof schematic to see where your lines are. Also note that the front drain line makes a bend at the dash level and sometimes becomes disconne ... | |||||
