My brake lights doesn’t come on and the reverse lights doesn’t either I replaced the brake light switch still doesn’t work, but when I turned the headlights and parking lights the taillights light up and turn signals work, could it be a short in the wiring

It could be a short or a problem with the switchbacks for the tails. I would lean towards a short though because the switchbacks wouldn't affect the reverse lights.

I'd check the fuses and then start looking at the wiring.

That's weird. The tail lights and signal lights look like they share a common ground with the brake lights and backup lights.

The backup lights/turn signals and  brake/hazzard lights are fed from 2 separate fuses.

So why would the turn signals work and the backup lights not work if they're fed from the same fuse?

Why would these 2 separate fuse circuits fail at once?

They even look like they share a common ground.

You have to start from scratch with some basic electrical diagnostic procedures.

Pick one of the circuits. Doesn't matter which one. Either the backup lights or the stop lights.

Either way, begin at the "load". So if you decide to start with the stop lights, get a test light and test the ground at the brake light socket and for 12 volts as an assistant pushes the brake pedal.

If you have ground but no power, move back in the circuit and test at the brake pedal switch. If you don't have power there, work your way back toward the fuse. Eventually you'll be able to determine at which point the circuit is failing.

Incidentally, I have a link to a PDF that's a 307 page manual titled, 1993 C/K Models Electrical Diagnosis and Wiring Diagrams.

It has wiring diagrams for all of your circuits and it includes some very detailed diagnostic procedures to troubleshoot  each circuit.

Here's the link to the PDF file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/72tnmmp0nfpdf7m/ST-375-93-EDD_1993_Chevrolet_CK_Wiring_Manual.pdf/file

It's provided by a guy on a GM Trucks forum called hatzie and he has some other resources for your truck which you may find useful.

Here's a link to the forum thread where he links them: https://www.gmt400.com/threads/88-95-service-manuals.43575/

The chapter to troubleshoot your issues begins on page 248 of the manual.

It begins with a description of the circuits and then follows with wiring diagrams and troubleshooting procedures to diagnose the problem. (I'll post a screenshot of the circuit descriptions)

Have you checked the fuses?

The fuses for the brakes are good

Did you check the Stop fuse too?

If the fuses are fine then check the circuit and wiring for any shorts like @mod_man said.

Stop fuse? There’s not one labeled that

Are you looking at the under hood fuse box? its the bottom middle fuse 15 amp

If you cant find the fuse then you should start checking the wiring for any shorts.

Sorry I think its the interior fuse box. I was looking at a diagram of the fuse box. But It seems that there is a Stop fuse in the bottom center and it is 15 amps.

Stop fuse?
