2004 3.5L V6 Nissan Pathfinder lifter noise worth fixing?

I've had the suv for about 5 years and the lifter noise has been for about 3 of those years.  During this 5 years I've done the whole brake system, injectors, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel pump and filter among other things.  About 2 months ago the transmission had to be rebuilt and the water pump changed.  What should I do with the lifter's problem?  Is it worth fixing it or am I better selling it, because where I live they're worth good money.

Should be every 30-40,000 miles.

Hopefully, you just need a valve lash adjustment.  When was it last done?

She never had valve adjustment.
