2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.4L 4 Cyl Automatic, 125k miles
Bought the car at 101k miles, transmission was smooth as can be, all the way to about the 115k miles mark. From 115k to 125k, its been getting worse, it slips much more often, and sometimes when I try to back out of my driveway in reverse, and I put it back into drive, it'll take a solid few seconds for the car to fully shift, until eventually getting into drive and letting me move forward. On the highway, it slips but only if im making a drastic change in speed, such as if im entering the highway at around 40mph and I step on the gas to quickly jump to 70mph. Got my transmission fluid replaced at the 110k miles mark, just checked it recently and its still basically full of fluid, and the fluid is still the proper color. Is there anything I can do to prolong the life of my transmission without spending a fortune? I had a friend tell me it may be worth switching out the torque converter.

Can you please change your use icon? It's screwing up the forum. Thanks.
Yes it is starting to go out the only thing you can do is try one quart of that Lucas anti-slip additive and see if it makes it last a little longer but those are junker transmissions
