Hi, for the past week or two I haven’t been able to get my 2009 Scion tC to start. At first we ran the codes and it said it was a crankshaft position sensor, so we went and replaced that, no luck. Then we decided it was the starter, replaced that, and still nothing. We’ve checked all the fuses, none of them are blown. We’ve tried jumping the battery, nothing. What could possibly be the issue here?

There could be a dozen reasons, but I'd start with the old-school basics - pull the plugs and see if gas is getting injected (the plugs will be wet), then check if a spark is being generated, check that compression is good, try starter fluid.
