Hello, I'm trying to test my motor I bought and I do not know which wire is the ground and which is live. I would like info on the motor. Image of motor
2010 Nissan Sentra EPS
plug it in turn it on
I don't have a plug outlet for that type of cord, I just have the motor
That plug goes into the ECM but there's no power and I want to know how to power it, I'm just testing it I'm not using it on any vehicle yet
so you bought a motor that doesn't plug into anything? I'm totally lost.
I have no idea what this motor is for, or what happened to your car, or what you're trying to do.
I can't see any of the numbers or labels on this part. I can't even see the whole thing and there are wires going out of the shot somewhere. You didn't provide a part number, or place you bought it from (which is where you really should be asking).
How do you expect us to do anything with this? Are we supposed to guess the technical specifications based on the shape?

You probably need schematics for your car anyway.
I bought the motor by itself to upgrade to power steering in my vintage truck. It's for a 2010 Nissan Sentra. I thought there'd be wiring manuals or something online
It does plug into somewhere but I don't have the full deal for it because i don't need it
Um yeah people use Prius systems and Kia systems for those. My truck is 1/2 ton so it's pretty light, lighter than a sentra
So where can I get a schematic are you gonna help me or make a fool of me
And I already said it's EPS which is Electric Power Steering so no it's not a wiper motor I'm not that stupid
There's a reason most trucks don't use electric power steering.
that looks like a wiper motor to me. They don't have positive and negative (live and neutral is what comes out of your wall). They are driven forwards and backwards with an H bridge driver (which is probably what that box is). But it doesn't matter it's a waste of time.
It sounds like you're in a little over your depth.
You need a complete off-the-shelf EPS conversion kit that comes with everything you need and it's rated for trucks,

So where can I get a schematic
