2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 78,616 Miles

U0001

U0121

The Jeep won’t start and those are the errors that I have. I’m going to check fuses and it doesn’t appear there is any visible damage to wiring. Besides fuses, could the PCM need to be replaced based off those error messages or is there a more precise message for that? I’m using an innova 5310 for my reading. My Jeep has been misfiring despite putting 1,500 into it where my spark plugs and fuel injectors were changed. Could the overheating be affecting this? I feel like I had electrical issues before any with the engine. Pardon the lengthy response, I’m a broke college student trying to figure things out. Please help.

You can find causes and troubleshooting information for those codes below:

https://www.obd-codes.com/u0121

Chances are the U0001 is triggering the U0121.

You can also find general information in the FAQ for diagnosing a no-start condition.

Unfortunately those vehicles are not a good choice for economical, reliable transportation. They are particularly notorious for transmission and electrical problems.
