ASAP! Thoughts on 2004 v6 3.0 Regular Cab Ranger with 200k miles & 5 speed manual

Lately I’ve been into trucks. I have a Chevy Sonic RS 1.4 turbo but I want something bigger but I can’t afford a “nice truck” I found a 2004 v6 3.0 Ranger but Scotty said that the I4 are better than the v6 and this truck as 200k miles... is it worth for me to trade it in or will I be carless after a few miles with the truck? I’m also a technician that knows how to do basic repairs but I will advance in my career to do bigger repairs.

Hard to say. Each vehicle is different. I would get it inspected, or you can inspect it yourself if you have the right tools, and see if it passes mechanically.

Me, I wouldn't buy it at 200k miles. That's too much for me. But if you like it and can work on it, go ahead. I would pay next to nothing though.

Thank you for your input, really appreciate your time!

Also even if the truck is manual it’s still not worth it?

In my opinion, no.
