My Infiniti threw a P1772 code. It says there is a circuit malfunction in the Low coast brake system. I am having trouble finding any information on what that system actually does. Could someone explain how that works and how I go about fixing it? Could it just be a damaged cable or is my transmission toast? It is a different code from what is usually read when the LCB Solenoid Valve itself fails. It says there is a LCB Solenoid circuit malfunction which makes me think that part of the wiring harness is damaged rather than the valve itself.

The first one didn't make sense, so there is a second (written) explanation in the following link that indicates that there is a problem with the Nissan LC/B Solenoid. Check this one out: https://www.transmissionrepaircostguide.com/p1772/

Also found the following illustration. P1772 is inside the control body inside the transmission. Image attached.

Trying to help, but I'm not sure I'm doing any good. Let me know ?
Thank you for the info. It is a 2003 Infiniti G35. So far there have been no symptoms other than the service engine light. I am really hoping that it is just a faulty wire. I have one other code that I am fairly certain is a damaged wire. I have heard a lot of infiniti's have electrical issues. Do you have any idea where the cable that controls this valve would be on the trans so I can inspect it?
I also found this service manual with some info but the instructions are not very detailed.

well it is an internal transmission problems in most cases if you know a good transmission man who understands Nissan's have them drop the pan and pray he can fix it without having to rebuild it
@scottykilmer
Any idea if it is safe to continue driving it for now with that issue? I was hoping to do a short 6-8 hour road trip in a few days.
