dear Scotty, Your videos are very informative. thank you! I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla with 134,000 miles. I have a persistent front passenger side rattle when driving on the highway (or over 50 miles an hour). I changed the front right wheel bearings a few months ago, but the problem persists. I just took it to a Firestone to check tires and balance, and all is good. Firestone suspects it's and axle and transmission problem, specifically the transmission differential. My questions are: 1) might you have any other theories about what is going on? 2) If it is the transmission and axles, is it worth repairing? 3) Could I use the car to (staying off of freeways) and would this be a relatively safe thing to do?
Thank you!

Also, jack up the car & check all the front end & suspension parts on that side. It could be a worn out rubber part or bushing.
If it’s the CV axle, that should be a cheap fix.
Thank you for your reply! That was quick. I will ask a mechanic to do as you suggest. If it is transmission, is it worth fixing? (I learned the car had been in an front end collision, which I forgot to mention).
For a 2001 Corolla, if it’s indeed the transmission, it’s gonna be cheaper to buy another Corolla. Honestly all bets are off if the car has been in a wreck. Who knows what may have gotten damaged. Hoping it’s a cheap fix for you!
Thank you! good general advice.
