Hi Scotty, last year I bought hundai i30 (2012 Year) 1.6 crdi diesel engine (d4fb) with 6-speed manual. Bought it in german with 164 000 kms no its about 177 000km. Last month I had a problem with power loss: when I'm accelerating on an gear and reach 3000 rpms my engine loose power (I don't know how it's called in mechanical language) and doesn't go well after that. Problem is onl after 3000 rpms lower then that It's ride normall I guess, but on the hills it's a reall bad and big problem.
I had it diagnosed and last OBD code was p0404 and we cleaned EGR system but I guess it doesn't helped or wasn't cleaned well enough.
