[Solved] Is this too much H2O coming out exhaust peep hole?

Hello Scotty and fellow Moderators, I have a 2011 Nissan Frontier 4x4 5spd w/od automatic w/ 147K miles. I have checked all my fluids and coolant is not leaking, nor is oil, nor is ATF. This is just plain old condensation. Here’s a video of how much it leaks H2O after it starts up.

Is this too much water coming out of the exhaust peep hole? Or what? Any common problems this is associated with?

is the level in your coolant reservoir going down over time?

No it’s not.

Water can only come from coolant , humidity in the air, or as byproduct from the combustion of gasoline. It does look like a lot.
Maybe the catalytic converter is wearing out, and temperature of your exhaust is too low causing more water to condense out.

Good points.

Give it the Italian tune up to get all the condensate out of the engine.  What, exactly, is coming out of the tail pipe, water or coolant?

by the time it goes out the tailpipe doc it all looks like water

Put a few layers of paper towels down on the garage floor. If it's colorless, it's water. If it is colored,(pink or green) it's coolant.

Okay thank y’all!

how would dye get into the tailpipe, doc?

If, on cold and humid mornings, the car exhausts translucent white smoke for a few minutes then drips water out the exhaust pipe, it's normal.  If the smoke doesn't stop after a few minutes, is opaque white and you have a rough idle, then you have a blown head gasket.

It does have a rough idle but it’s a rough vibration and yes it smokes white at start up, though after it warms up the smoke is gone. But I have a tuner and I bumped up the rpm (+75) and that removed the rough idle. It idled at about 587-625rpm before I bumped it up. It now stays at 685-725rpm after my tune up. It stops leaking after I drive it. So I guess you’re right it’s probably just the condensation build up. It just seems a bit excessive for the amount of H2O that leaks.

When you drive the vehicle how many miles on average and on the highway? If you do a lot of short trips so the exhaust never gets true truely hot this can be more noticeable but there is nothing wrong with the truck. But if it retains moisture If you’re not driving enough it can shorten the life of the muffler
