Hi I really could use some help deciding between these 2 cars. A 2019 Toyota Prius awd e xle with 35389 miles on it or a 2018 Lexus es 300h with 34286 miles on it. The Prius is going for $25388 and is a cpo from our local toyota. The Lexus is going for $28775 and requires bit of  traveling to dealership. I really would like a Lexus but it’s in the upper end of our price range/pushing price limit. The Prius also meets our needs and is more in our budget. Any advice is very much appreciated. Each has a carfax that I’ll include the links for if it helps.

Thank you!

pretty easy decision in my opinion. only $3k more for a luxury sedan with less miles, compared to an econobox?

These being hybrids, I would definitely need to know the battery conditions first.

I noticed the Lexus went from 19,282 miles to 30,348 without a recorded oil/filter change. Not saying this should be deal breaker tho, only that I did noticed it. I do agree with @mmj , the Lexus is a nicer vehicle.

The Lexus seems to be the better deal in this case. Both great cars either way.

Thank you all for the advice and somethings I had not considered. For a little context we are a young family with a baby. The Prius with ability to expand the trunk might a be more useful, but I think the Es might have more room a car seat and a passenger or two.
