I have a 2005 Jeep liberty with 148k miles on it. The last couple days, I've been having a beep occasionally, and didn't see any new lights come on. I finally realized, my odometer was going from the mileage reading to "low wash". I've watched a lot of your videos, and between that and just life experience, I've never heard of vehicles telling you you're washer fluid was low. Is there actually a sensor for this?
Yes there are sensors in the washer fluid container
Just another question (that I'm sure you don't have the answer to) but, why don't they put a light for it on the dash board then?
It should have a light on the dashboard. Look like #60 in the list

There is no light. It took me a few days to figure out why my vehicle was beeping at me. Then I saw the odometer said low wash
Yes, in most modern cars, there is a level sensor for washer fluid.
why don't they put a light for it on the dash board then?
It’s not a failure mode where if you run out of washer fluid, you’ll get stranded on the side of the road.
Yeah, could you imagine:
”This is AAA, what do you need help with?”
“Ummm… I think I just ran out of windshield wiper fluid.” 😳
AAA: “Just pee in it.”
Does my 2005 Liberty have a sensor for the washer fluid level?
What does the owner's manual say?
what about the future?
Next time try blinker fluid for longer fluid life..
Top up the reservoir once a fortnight or just before a long trip and always carry a bottle of water in the vehicle (in case you run out on a dirty road/rain).
I didn't get a manual with this vehicle.
I didn't get a manual with this vehicle
All car manufacturers put manuals and other info on the internet for you.

but what about the future?
what about it? I don't understand.
I didn't get a manual with this vehicle. I poured a full jug of washer fluid in and it's fine for now, but what about the future? I also asked my original question to help anyone else that may experience this problem in the future.
