PIRELLI P ZERO ALL SEASON PLUS vs MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4?

Anyone have any experience with these tires. They seem pretty similar. Michelins are a bit more expensive and have a 5k miles shorter warranty. Are they any better than the Pirellis?

I'm a huge fan of Pirelli tires. Not much into the Michelins nowadays as quality has slipped a bit.

You don’t buy these tires for the snow, … or cold weather! You buy these tires in “summer tire" version only, … and for summer driving only! Anyway, … they are not worthy a premium.

If you want a performance tire, however, with all season rating, … get Continentals DWS06. Excellent tire, … soft enough in cold conditions, pretty good in light snow, … well priced! Bit noisier than average, …

Anyway, … the only real problem with this tire is that when S disappears, … there is still 3/4 of the thread life left, … but the tire is no longer rated as snow worthy - technically, that is. Still, it continues to handle well, still handles very good in rain and dry, … and good enough to command good control in the light snow. You can drive them in the light snow all the way down to ~5/32 of thread depth.

I am looking for a solid tire for mostly summer use. I will occasionally be in light snow or in colder temps but for the most part in warm areas with light rain. I know all seasons are pretty much useless in snow, I grew up in alaska. I want something that will be a decent performance tire that also won't go to shit in a bit of cold weather. I feel like the Pirellis might do a good job of that. I haven't heard much about the Continentals you mentioned

Well, … here is the propaganda, an example of:

I have two cars with these tires currently on. One 16” and one 17” set. Best part about them is light weight and very balanced out of the tire mould - precision manufactured. I use them all year around, … I’m in Calgary, Alberta, so sun, rain, slush, snow, … and anything in between. Temperatures down to -30 deg. C. No trouble, …
Anyway, … just a suggestion based on personal experience.
Best,
F.S.

I had the previous gen Michelins of those kind and they rode harsh. Not much grip either.

Michelin's quality really decreased recently, I was a true Michelin fan before, not anymore. Now I go with continental (DWS 06)
