Hello Scotty and everyone

This past weekend, I took a trip in my 2009 Chevy Tahoe (202,000 MI) from St. Paul Minnesota to South Eastern Nebraska and back, on the road trips I saw 7 Tesla’s (1 Model S, 3 Model 3s, and 3 Model Xs). I also solve one Ford Mustang Mach E. I guess it’s easier to see a Electric car in the Midwest then on the east coast. According to Scotty, he only saw 2 Tesla’s on his trip back to Tennessee. The interstates I traveled on were I-35 (where I saw 3 electric cars), I-80 (where I saw 6 electric cars) and I-29.

It would be more interesting to see how many electric boondoggle vehicles are sitting in charging stations during long trips while their gasoline-powered brethren fill up in 5 minutes and continue on their way.

2,013 miles driven.
.
Number of charges = 14
.
Time spent charging = 18 hours
.
Time spent sleeping = 16 hours

.

they're not suited to road trips at all right now. Unless maybe you stay in California. Daily urban commuting is more realistic.

EVs are perfectly fine as an expensive luxury for people wealthy enough to have multiple vehicles.  They are a cruel joke for regular people who have to depend on one vehicle to meet all their needs.  Unfortunately, it’s the wealthy who donate the most to the politicians....

I took a road trip as well. Mainly on the Interstate 5 in California.

Tons of Model 3 and Model Y. Then Model S and Model X.  Some Ford Mach-E’s. A handful of Audi e-Tron. A couple of Kia EV’s. A couple of Chevy Volts.

I didn’t see any Lucid, Rivian, Polestar.

On the Hybrid end, it seems like the RAV4 hybrid was the most popular, followed by the Prius. As well as some Lexus hybrids.  And a few IONIQ.
