Scotty, I left my 2018 dodge demon with a 1/8 tank for 3 years

I didn’t try to start it. I was away for a good time and left it on a battery tender. I put some dry gas in it before I left and more when I returned. Should I fill it up from a gas can and add more dry gas and start it and take a chance? Or should I have it towed to my dealer for a fuel system drain and cleaning? Funds aren’t an issue if that would mean the dealership route. The car is perfect, less than 3500 miles and I just paid it off. Please lmk what you would do if it was your car. Thanks. Love your show.

A dealer will charge you an arm and leg for this. I would suggest towing it to a competent, independent mechanic and getting them to purge the fuel system. My girlfriend's dad's E-350's fuel pump went outa few months ago. He towed it to our regular mechanic. They only charged $250 for labor to replace the pump. He had probably 15 gallons in that tank, too. A good shop with the right equipment can do this easily, you're not really replacing anything. Drain the fuel rail and fuel line, drop the tank and clean it out, gas it up and go.
