Tacoma preventive maintenance

I bought a 2021 Toyota Tacoma sr double cab 4cyl rear wheel drive automatic. I've already changed the oil twice by the 5000 mile mark and will continue changing it every 5000 miles. I am currently at 8000 miles now & will never be towing anything with it. What would be the best maintenance that I can do to keep it running for as long as possible?

read the maintenance section in the owner's manual, and take your truck to a mechanic for checkup once in a while

Also be sure to change the transmission fluid (drain and fill, with filter change) no later than every 60,000 miles.  I prefer to go more aggressive than that at every 40,000-50,000 miles.
