Hello Scotty,
I've been watching you on youtube recently because of a problem we have with our 2010 Toyota Corolla with 222,000 miles. . A few days ago, my daughter was driving it,
stopped at a light and when she went to go, the car wouldn't go forward. It now only goes in reverse. We had it towed to Firestone who pulled a P0500 code from it.
Because it wasn't able to be driven they wanted to tow it to a transmission garage. We chose not to. I watched one of your videos in which you said usually it's not a bad
transmission. Being that we can't keep towing it around because, it's expensive. I'm fearful that they will want to replace the transmission when it doesn't need one. Could it
possibly be a defective "speed sensor" or a "solenoid"? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You In Advance,
Grizell Wisdom
Thank you very much for your reply. Could you give me an idea of how to sell it? The motor sounds good and body in good shape. Is it best to sell it for salvage?

Unfortunately for my experience with that cold and they won't move, you are going to have to replace the transmission. Or have it taken apart and rebuilt which cost a small fortune

no way. If it runs, just sell it normally.
