Transmission Dilemma

Long time viewer, first time with a question. We purchased a 2004 Toyota Highlander 3.3L with 155,000 miles and have driven it for the last eight years, putting on 30,000 miles. Following your advice about not changing the transmission fluid after 100,000 miles when you don't know the history, the other day in a video you said that you can do a fluid change on Toyotas after 100,000.

I know ours is way past 100,000 miles, but the transmission fluid is getting brown (not burnt) and there's no slipping, yet a slight delay when going into overdrive. The dilemma is what do we do about it?

For a quick second question, it has a soft plastic radiator due to being 20 years old, antifreeze and plastic do not play well together, and the driver's side CV axle boot ripped, throwing grease. When you can only afford to do one at a time, which should I do first?

Thank you for your time and rev up that engine.

I would replace the radiator first. Now the fluid's not supposed to be brown so I would change the fluid and filter. It is a Toyota. They don't have the problems that other cars have change in the fluid when older
