I've a 1.7 TSI VW Touran, with problems with the boost at short rpm's.
My check engine light is not working, but I just scanned and got two codes:
1. P10AD
2. P2262
Do you think that a fuse could be causing the problems or is most likely an electrical connection? Maybe a water-pump clutch not working at all?
Thank you,
AMCP
Bonjour Mr j'ai le même problème avec ma voiture !
Le garagiste me demande de changer les tendeurs
Ça été Quoi le problème pour vous s
Je vous remercie d'avance
The car has 80.000 miles
Thank you for your fast repply!
I did check the fuse box and the F21 fuse was blown, but every time I insert a new one it gets blown with a visible and loud spark. It looks like I might have a short in some circuit.
I've been driving with boost problems for 6 months, no boost below 3000rpm. It takes like 20s to get from 2000-3000 rpm's. afterwards, above 3000rpm works just fine.
Thank you for your offer of looking into the electrical control circuit, all this is quite new to me. The VIN is WVGZZZ1TZ7W065735.
1 month before all the problems appeared the garage changed the timing chain. I don't know if they messed-up doing something whith any electrical component?
Thank you!
Doubtful it's only a fuse... how many miles on car? I suspect turbo issues but not familiar with the electrical control circuit incorporated into that engine re: turbo sensors and/or vane control... if you give a vin also, I'll take a look.
