Hi Scotty. I have a 2015 Tahoe 4WD (67,000 miles) with a check engine light. I used my old Actron scanner and found the code P050D Cold Start Rough Idle. The scanner didn't have my truck in it's "Code Connect" fixes database so, based on your recommendation, I ordered a BlueDriver yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing what it recommends for fixes for my problem(s).
My question is - When I'm looking at all the cool "live data" while the engine is running, how do I know what numbers are "normal" for my truck? Is this data published somewhere?
Love your videos! Especially like the one you did yesterday explaining the rare earth metals needed to supply Sleepy Joe's EV goals. Well done!
Thanks!
I can’t speak to your scan tool, but on my fancy Autel scan tools if any parameters are out of range it shows up as red. On some of Scotty’s videos where he uses his scan tools (mainly the high dollar ones), it does the same.
But I also have service manuals (they are online versions from Alldatadiy) that for my vehicles tell me the expected value (as well as range) for each scan tool parameter.
