I know someone who will sell me a Lexus Ls460 for $4000, if nothing is wrong with it would you consider this to be a good vehicle to drive daily?, and if so what are some things to look out for on this model, make and year?

No. The maintenance cost for that car is sky high.

At that mileage and being the first year of that generation of LS, I would pass on it.
The problem I have with the LS460 is it has a V8 engine and eventually it will need the starter and knock sensor replaced, but due to its location the intake manifold will have to come off and there is not much room to work back there - anyhow, if a shop does it it will easily cost several thousand dollars for the job (>$3,000).  Also, if it has air suspension those can leak over time and also very expensive to fix.  In addition, they are gas hogs so you will spend more on fuel.  Finally, being an LS it will have more bells and whistles than a GS, ES, and IS and so some of those electronics could fail over time (which is more cost if you wanted to fix).

I would probably skip because it’s a 14 year old Lexus with 200,000 miles and maintenance and repairs will cost a premium, even though it’s a Lexus and their quality is at the top. If you want, you could get a Toyota Avalon or even a Lexus ES as they won’t be as costly as the LS.

Good yes. Cheap no.
Sales price is fair for the current market, assuming it has no fatal flaws. But Matthew and Yaser are right. Maintaining it will be expensive, even if you do all of your own work.
