| Code p1692 and 1693 electronic throttle control monitor Lever 2/3 motorized throttle control and fuel injection switch off "A" "B" Replaced starter relay car did not crank now it cranks but does not start and those 2 codes came up. I don't have any more history of this car. Did check ews key and all are ok no other codes. Any suggestions of where to start. Thank you. | |||||

| failed brake line, stuck cylinder, ... could be several things. It needs an inspection. | |||||

| Well sometimes you slam on the brakes and brake some of the sensors in the brake system and then they stay red but do check to see if it's low on brake fluid that will do it and also if you are low on brake pressure that will also do it you might have the brake system tested by pro just to make sure nothing is damaged | |||||

| Well those little angels that kind of crappy and that thing is probably going to need rebuilding you're not going to know what's wrong till you start taking it apart if you want to go that far. My advice to be ditching and get a more reliable car they have a limited lifespan and yours is nearing the end | |||||

| Automatic or manual transmission? Those are not the most long-lived cars around and they do tend to fall apart pretty quickly. Frankly I would have given the car right back to Carmax if it was received with a blown head gasket. | |||||
