| The frontier is a good truck and will last a long time. The Tacoma is a better truck and would last longer. It comes down to how long you plan to keep it for. | |||||

| After my car was totaled in a accident, I purchased a 2011 Chrysler 200 from a neighbor for $700 for a temporary ride. What pile of crud that thing is. Anyways, the local Nissan dealership will sell me a new frontier with the 4L V6 and four wheel drive for $28,995, the Tacoma of same specification is $9000 more. Is the Nissan a false economy? | Hey Scotty, I found a 2006 frontier. 49000 miles, garage parked and well maintained by current owner. These trucks have a history of radiator and transmissions exchanging fluids. Owner wants $9500. Should I buy it and install a new radiator or is it pass the vulnerable period of radiator failure. Love your videos. | |||||

| I bought a brand new 2020 Nissan frontier Pro4X with the new 9 speed transmission about a year ago. I wish I had driven it for a week before I bought it. I have noticed a really nice whiplash experience every time I accelerate from stop, or from a crawl. I notice it has some hesitation before slamming into gear and giving me a nice snap in the neck. Any way to correct this in the transmission gear ratio, or am I just stuck with a crappy transmission? DocBob | |||||

| Hy Scotty... Love the show, my favourite channel by far. I have an 04 Nissan frontier with 310,000kms, 3.3 V6. Every couple of years I replace the fuel filter and I think that it's has had a lot to do with the longevity of the truck. One thing that I noticed is that it can be a bit of a pain replacing the in-line filters (thankfully it's not in the tank!). I was thinking of getting a spin-on type fuel filter mount and matching filter and reworking the current setup so that changing the fuel filter is as easy as changing the oil filter. | They are decent pickup trucks and back then they were well made. Keep in mind the age and some things may go wrong. Make sure to haggle on the price hard and have a pre-purchase inspection done before you buy it. Scotty talks about the Nissan frontier in many of his truck vidoes, check them out. | |||||

| Hey Scotty, I recently totaled my 2006 Toyota Matrix XR when I hit a deer. I loved the reliability in the car and Toyotas in general, and my only complaint about my Matrix was the how the headlights from other vehicles would shine directly into my eyes with how low to the ground it is. I found a 2000 Nissan frontier SE-V6 with 103,483 miles on it at a local dealer for $6,895. I was wondering if this is a good vehicle for reliability and if not if you had any other suggestions for getting a bit off the ground in a reliable vehicle? | |||||

| Hi Scotty, I bought a new frontier last year and coming up on 1 yr, but I am still at first 2500 miles of the break-in period because of reduced driving with the given global situation. The door jam tag shows a manufacture date of 9/2019. The manual says to change the oil at 5k. I have watched your videos about changing oil and atf once a year, even if we don't drive that much. I have not found Nissan break-in oil that I can purchase online. I was thinking about changing the oil with Royal Purple's break-in oil for the remainder of 2500 break-in miles, and ... | |||||

| I'd go frontier for a proper truck you would save a few thousand and they are good trucks so I'd get that the Ridgeline is based on the Pilot/Passport with a unibody so that might be a better daily driver/"comfort" oriented truck. | |||||
