| Kinda. There is a live real time MPG bar. The higher the bar, the higher the MPG, the more Eco. The lower the bar, the lower the MPG, and not so Eco. | |||||

| ... text: It may depend on your country or location in regards to parts for the RAV4. It is the number one selling SUV in America, Cool! so IMHO, I would think parts are available and not overly expensive. Love that. This expands my awareness. Older generation share things in common with the Corolla platform, Very cool... and the latest generation shares things in common with the Camry platform. Interesting. Will keep in mind in case I get interested in the latest generation. Heck, the current RAV4 had three sibling SUV’s: Toyota Venza, ... | |||||

| The 10-speed in my Accord 2.0T Sport LOVES Sport Mode. Very quick response, smooth shifting. It's great for on ramps or hooligan fits. Lol. The downside is of course increased wear and tear and decreased MPG. Eco mode...I don't use. I'm happy at 33MPG and down here in Texas having the Eco mode on limits the turbo severely and is a great way to become a hood ornament. | |||||

| ... warranty. Just received a letter today from Honda stating they are extending the warranty for fuel injectors for 10 years/150k miles. As for the transmission no issues unless you’re in Eco mode. Seems to shift a little ruff on certain gears but does not do this in any other mode, probably the Eco shift points? | |||||

| If your budget allows get the Tundra if you want this truck for long term. If you’re only planning on owning it for 10 yrs or so F150 wouldn’t be a bad choice. I’d get the 5.0 or the 2.7 Eco, although I’m not a big fan of those Eco boost motors the 2.7 had a revamp in 18 that has duel injectors instead of just the GDI set up. I’ve also heard better reviews for the 2.7 than the 3.5. Especially if you’re not going to be towing a lot. What I don’t like about the Fords is that 10 speed auto in those have had some issues that still need worked out. | |||||

| 2015 Honda Odyssey VCM engine. This engine will shutdown cylinders to improve gas mileage, entering the Eco Mode. My Odyssey has 94K miles and has started to have a shutter, like there isn't enough power and doesn't shift down into a lower gear. There is a device listed in various forums about adding a "Muzzler" which prevents the vehicle from entering the Eco Mode. Is this a good thing for the engine or am I just creating a new problem? | |||||

| ... if an adjustment is necessary. That "slipping" you're feeling might be it changing its habits based on your driving style. I highly doubt ANY Toyota would be having transmission issues after only 3 years/70k miles. Even being a rebadged Mazda 2, Toyota still has quality standards and wouldn't sell a piece of garbage that won't last 4 years. My 15 year old Matrix is still going strong and the dealership loves seeing me stop by for parts that I can't get on RockAuto. Maybe try to bring it back to the dealership and see if they can flash the computer back to ... | |||||

| ... car is in Eco mode but I checked an Eco mode is turned off). There are no trouble codes when plugged up to my autel scan tool...I checked the air filter for the car and it's not dirty.... I replaced the spark plugs about 15 or 20,000 mi ago with new iridium plugs....haven't made any changes with regard to the gasoline that I use. I tried to use one of those fuel treatments from Lucas that you add to a full tank of gas and there was practically no change with how the car is handling. Any suggestions on what I can try? | |||||

| Pre 18 is what you want IF you want the 5.0. If you want an Eco boost anything past 18 is you’re best bet. What are your plans with this truck? Lots of towing and work? or pavement queen? If it’s going to be a constant worker and tow I’d avoid the Ecoboost line. If you’re plans are towing the boat or toys around occasionally in the summer or something Ecoboost will do it. If you go the Eco route install oil catch can, oil changes every 4000 mi even with full synthetic, and change spark plugs every 60k mi. Those motors eat up spark plugs. Personally I think ... | |||||

| @imperator that’s valid. I haven’t used it yet and obviously just wanted more perspective on the product itself. Now seeing as it is new despite being tested for a year. I am in a discord server with hundreds to thousands of people that have the product and are currently using it. So people would say something if it was acting not as intended. If I were to wait, how long would I have to wait for this product to be deemed “safe.” Because it’s just a OBD2 that shows animations aimed towards younger car enthusiasts. | |||||

| Here's the product: This is all marketing sales hype. You're paying $250 for a supposed "scan tool" and small display. The vast majority of what it claims to display, it's already on your dash. Scotty has repeatedly stated the OBD2 port should only be used for diagnostics, nothing else. | |||||

| The name alone screams "HYPE!" and/or "SCAM!" Scotty has stated many times that the diagnostic port is not meant for anything to be left permanently connected to it and that it is not safe for your vehicle's electronics to do so. Also it seems like an awful lot of money to spend on something whose primary purpose appears to be displaying limited vehicle information in a cartoon format. | |||||
