How do I fix my oil leak

What up Scotty!!!! I have a 1998 Ford Ranger with 190k miles, a v6 3.0 with manual transmission. Lately, I have had an oil leak, my AC stops working sporadically, and my engine is revving when driving around the city from 1.25k to 3k in neutral whenever I am idling or slowing down. It also is a rusty truck but the engine is mostly rust-free. All of this happened after I fixed pre-ignition issues and checked the engine light.

If more information is needed let me know and I hope to get my truck into tip-top shape.

These are all completely separate systems. There's a plenum gasket that can leak oil if it's never been changed, odds are, it's never been changed. I'm pretty sure you need to take the upper intake manifold off in order to replace it, which is a pain (I have the same Ranger 3.0 that's a 1999, only it's an automatic). There's also a lower intake manifold.

See a qualified technician to diagnose AC stuff. Don't simply "fill to the green" with a low quality, low side gauge. You need proper tools to work on AC.

Hi, I found two missing or broken bolts on both sides where the exhausts come out of the engine when I looked at my engine today. It also appears to be a leak from the valve on the driver's side and has old oil residue. I also think the oil leak may be from the oil pan, but I didn't get enough of a view to find the source.

Put some UV leak dye in the engine oil and get some funky glasses to highlight where it's leaking. You'll find out shortly.

one question per post please. See our forum rules on the front page. Thanks.

But sir, all of these happened within a week of each other, I don't know what all of this would happen at once. I was not trying to ask more than one question, but I thought all the details could help to figure out the root cause of these issues.

you have several unrelated problems.
