Turn key, lights and radio come on, speedometer jumps, but no movement on on other 2 gauges.  Message on dash reads low fuel, power steering.

Checked fuses, and relays.

Start with the simple stuff. Is the battery any good? Connections clean and tight? The starter takes a heck of a lot more current than lights and radio. Does it crank if you hotwire the starter solenoid?

Possibly some clues here:

Found 2 black/white wires hanging loose, seemed charred. Being black I found them a new ground. Car cranks now, but won't start. Gauges are working normally now.

They may or may not have been grounds, really you need a wiring diagram for the car. In any event it seems you have some electrical problems that need sorting out. It's probably going to take a fancy scan tool that can test all the computer modules.

I have pictures but don't know how to post them.

If by hot wire you mean using a screw driver on the starter, then yes. It will try to crank, but won't turn over. Battery is good, starter is good.

Then if it the starter doesn't crank with the key you need to start looking at things like your ignition switch, and possibly the anti-theft immobilizer (if that car has one). It also needs to be scanned, preferably with a bidirectional scan tool that can test the car's modules.

I found two wires both black with white stripe.  Different gauges.

They exit the group heading to the fan.

Previously I had a no start, no crank problem.  I extended them to reach a ground.  Now car cranks, but won't turn over.

Problem is I don't know where the wires are suppose to go.  If I can find the right home the car may start.

I have pictures but don't know how to post them.

It appears you forgot to include some important information as requested at the very top of the site's main page. Additionally, you must have missed the instructions on posting pictures (item #8) when you read the "Read this first" section.
