I love your channel! I cannot find the location of my 2019 subaru crosstrek alternator fuse for the life of me. I’ve looked at the fuse box diagram and it’s not labeled in a way that’s easy for me to understand. I’ve also checked Subaru forums, but there’s not much discussion on it. If you know or are able to find out which number fuse it is I would be extremely grateful.
Usually (at least on vehicles I've seen), alternators are not protected on the fuse block. There's too much current there, and the cable is too thick. They have a fusible link, inline with the cable going to the battery.
But maybe things have changed.
The fuse location is in the engine compartment box #16. See attached.
