I am driving a 1999 toyota camry 2.2le. I am currently getting codes p0301 and p0301 for cylinder 1/4 misfire. This vehicle has around 275,000 miles. I have already purchased new parts such as egr, o2 sensors(both downstream and upstream), cataclean, etc. Before I start replacing parts, can you clean the map sensor or just have to replace it? I have seen Scotty's videos for maf sensor and o2 sensor cleaning. I am wondering if something similar can be done for map sensors.
If you meant to post that you have codes P0301 and P0304 that's an interesting misfire combination because you have 2 ignition coil packs (wasted spark design).
One coil pack provides spark to cylinders 1 & 4, the other coil pack provides spark to cylinders 2 & 3.
The 1/4 coil pack is closest to the passenger side and the 2/3 is closer to the engine.
First inspect the electrical connector to the coil pack to make sure it isn't wet or oily and there's no corrosion or wiring damage.
The ignition coils are identical so if you want to test the theory without spending any money, just swap the coil positions.
If the cylinders 1/4 misfires move to cylinders 2/3, well there you go. Time for a new coil pack

I wouldn't spray anything at the MAP. It's a different kind of sensor.
However, they are far less expensive than MAF sensors, so you could always just try a new one.
