Overheating Mustang Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor Missing

Hello I have a 1997 Mustang GT Manual 4.6 overheating, radiator fan won't turn on. I see a cylinder head temperature sensor under the intake that has nothing plugged into it. It looks just like a coolant temp sensor.

Is this why my fan won't come on? Fan comes on for a/c and if I apply 12 volts to it.

Where are the wires for this? They're nowhere to be found!

You are going to have to dig around to see if you can find the connector and reattach it.  You could try to run down a wiring diagram somewhere online that would help trace it.  The temp sensor is generally installed in a water jacket in the intake manifold.
