I have a 2001 Nissan Altima Automatic with 145k Miles.

Here is a list of New Parts, EGR & Valve Gasket, Purge Valve , EGR Vacuum Solenoid , EGR Vacuum modulator , all hoses on EVAP system are new or not damaged , Gas Cap , Fuel Pump , Fuel Filter , Spark Plugs , Cam Sensor , Top & Bottom pulleys , Both Belts , Drums & Brake Shoes (+ springs) , Regular Fluid changes, MAF , Air Filter , Throttle Body , & countless other small things like bulbs and what not but i can't seem to figure out why this code won't go away. There's parts that don't have to do with the EVAP system but just figured i'd put it out there. I inspected the Lines goin from the front of the car to the back Canister , one of the lines is rusted in one spot , didn't see any holes break in the line or anything on it so i figured it was okay , could it be the canister vent valve solenoid? or the Canister itself ? maybe the rusty part of that line leading to canister ? maybe something totally different ? idk at this point it drives perfect , Gas is decent , doesn't shut off randomly anymore since i fixed stuff , i just don't know please help !?!!?

Well this is why we mechanics get. We have machines that can do bi-directional controlling and we can actually test to see is the valve opening is the valve closing take a road test and see what kind of data is coming out when you're actually driving the car down the road to find the source of the problem. Anything else is just pure gas work

Pure guess work*
