[Solved] What is a good output AC temperature ?

I put a pocket thermometer inside an AC vent as shown below, and it read 59F. It's hot day: 89F outside and 40% humidity.

The car : Toyota Yaris 2007, 170 miles.

The temperature was taken after a 20-minute trip.

Should my temperature be lower?

I borrowed an AC manifold gauge set from a local auto parts store. The low-pressure side blue gauge read 40 PSI at idle, the high-pressure side red gauge read 0 PSI. I suspect the gauge is broken since nobody-knows-how-many guys abused the gauge before me. The o-ring on the red gauge was compromised.

When you put on the AC, it should normally be 45 degrees F (7 degrees C) at the vent. Unless your car has been sitting in a desert, then that's what probably making it blow at that temp.

My car's ac works fine but it has rear ac and whenever I want the AC to be cold, I have to turn on both the front and rear AC to get all of the hot air out and then have it blowing cold air.

If your car's compressor works fine and you don't need a recharge, take some compressed air and spray through the vents. It should blow even colder.

So my AC does not blow enough of cold air. Should be at least 45F (not 59F). Sometimes I smell gas. Does it have to do with the not cold enough AC?

If you are smelling gas, then you have a leak.

Is there any relation between the two systems? AC and the gas in a fuel tank?

Normally when you put on the AC, it uses gas just to make it turn. Because you mentioned earlier that you smell gas sometimes, I would take that thing to a mechanic immediately. You might have a fuel leak and when driving, the fumes from the exhaust can come through the vents.
