| I mean look, it's a Mini, not the best cars, but the only one locally that is within my budget and it has Low Miles and its a 2004 before Mini added the Crazy Technology to their cars.. Why not? Plus Scotty Kilmer said in his older videos that the older Mini's weren't half-bad cars. | |||||

| Dear Scotty, I love your videos. I need to buy a used car, and fast. There aren't a ton of options out there though, and I'd like to buy from a private seller. I found this car from a private seller it's one of the only decent cars for sale I found. I know you're going to laugh, I'm kind of laughing to......but, if it's a decent well-made car might as well ask right? Thank you so much. Sincerely, Kelli | |||||

| ... you would want to go through the process of selling it yourself so first see what offers you get for it through the places I mentioned and then decide. By Mini are you talking about a Mini Cooper? If that's what you mean then definitely no don't consider it. It depends on the car. If you're a single person then probably a sedan will work well. Used car prices are high currently so expect higher prices than before. I want to suggest Civic or Corolla. I'll include a link to a video from Scotty on years to buy and/or avoid. | Manual Transmission Gear Oil Change | 32Relevance | 5 years ago | Maus | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hello Scotty, I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S with the Getrag 6 speed manual Transmission. I bought this Mini new and it has 51,000 miles on the clock. I do all of my own maintenance and am considering changing the gear oil in the transmission. I would like the transmission to shift a little smoother. Other than changing the gear lube with the factory recommended oil is there any additive or brand of gear oil I can use to make the transmission shift a little "slicker"? I have no issues whatsoever with this transmission or the way that it shifts now, I am just l ... | |||||

| If I were to put this under my r56 Cooper s, will I have to drill new thread points in the sub frame? Or do I have to install a subframe from an R57 Convertible into my R56 hardtop to make the part 51617113473 fit in the car? I want to install it to improve grip as I already have a front strut mount which makes the car nice and stiff at the front but now the rear is Lucy goosey and I was informed the strut tensioner piece off a r57 is a direct bolt on. | |||||

| Ford Focus 2013 Front bearing noise.....maybe | 29Relevance | 5 years ago | Bootstrap | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| HI, Ford Focus 2013, 59,000 miles second set of tires. Cooper CS5 ULTRA tires at 34,000 miles... issue. slowly but surely developed after a good 10,000 miles or so on these tires a "bearing noise". Bearing noise starts at 35mph and on. right turns, left turns, straight, coasting etc.....some sort of front bearing noise. never goes away. you don't feel it in the steering wheel. rotating tires does not help. tire inspection shows just a slight cupping on inside of all 4 tires..slightly. The car has had the clutch transmission shutter worked on 2 times. Clutches replaced, etc. Still, I hear a "bearing noise". Almost convinced its a bearing or CV Axle noise. no Clicking. a "bearing Noise". I also have a newer Ford Fusion with 3000 miles on it. Michelin X Energy tires. A very quiet car. I have switched the Cooper and Michelin tires between the two cars, Fusion and Focus. Expecting the "bearing Noise" to follow the Cooper tires, if its the Coopers. WRONG! The Coopers on the Fusion are quiet. The Michelin's on the Focus are quiet. no bearing noise! Gees. The Michelins are a slightly bigger and wider tire compared to the Coopers. Just, the noise did not follow..... and both cars are not having the bearing noise....driving from 30mph up to 60mph. Geometry changes a little (camber\caster?) with different tires.... as of now, tires are back on the the perspective cars.... Bearing noise on the Focus. any idea as to? | |||||
| Answer to: Should I buy this 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman? | 26Relevance | 3 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| It probably hasn't had any issues because it has only collected 30,000 miles and the previous owner seemed to have taken good care of it. But I wouldn't buy it personally. Mini doesn't have a good reputation for reliability. If you plan to keep it a long time, I don't recommend. And if you don't want to keep it a long time, the resale value of such car isn't high. To be honest, $11,500 for that car is outrageous in my opinion. I don't care about the brand, all cars are just metal on wheels, or plastic on wheels if we talk about German and some American cars. ... | |||||
