| ... be according to the term then.. Hotrods or the term "Muscle Cars" and is why those cars made an impact and memories in those days. Today isn't any different as there are many people out there today that do just that with their cars just like they did then! So I do not think giving that example as was stated in the original title of this thread here is any different. I had posted this thread for Scotty Kilmer to find and read and ask his advise on which particular Supercharger would he recommend out of the two presented here or another brand as these compan ... | |||||

| I have a lexus rx450h 2013 with 106k miles, every now and again when I start the car randomly it will take a few times for it to start, interior lights will flicker a little bit but it will eventually start. Once it's running it's absolutely fine no issues at all, and starting again after it's been on recently it will start everytime it only normally occurs when the car is cold or has been off over night or so. Any ideas what could causing this or how I would approach getting it fixed? Thank you | |||||
| Should I put regular gas in my Lexus | 0Relevance | 3 years ago | Dimamitya | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| In your video titled “This stupid device just destroyed my car and I’m mad as hell” At approximately 11:19 minute of it, you’re saying that it doesn’t matter if you fill up your wife’s Lexus with premium. So you’re saying that I shouldn’t bother about pumping my wife’s 2010 Lexus RX450h with 155k miles ( I know you’re not fond of hybrids) with premium gasoline and should just switch to plain regular 87 with no potential knocking issues in the future? | |||||
| Do I need to buy 4 identical tires if my car has an e-AWD system? | 0Relevance | 4 years ago | Tuezzy | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty much love to you and your channel!!!! My question is about e-drive trains. My sister recently purchased a Lexus RX450h with the e AWD system and I wanted to know if the rules about having the same tires with the same amount of tread and the same type of tread matters here. (The ICE engine powers the front wheels and the motors power the back) Thanks so much | |||||

| 2010 RX450h hum at 35 and 60mph | 0Relevance | 2 years ago | Unworried7152 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hello, Have an issue I've been struggle to diagnose. Car has 247k miles on it and has been trouble free. Lately, its developed a hum at 35 and 60mph. Sounds is from the front. Hum is worse when I swing the car left but goes away when I swing the car right. I have had power steering fail light up and shut down at power on. Restarting the car will always get power steering to work again. Hasn't happened under any other condition yet. Diagnosis I have done so far -No trouble codes from scan tool - Rotated tires front to rear. Hum has stayed in the front. - I don't have any visible tears/rips or significant leaks at any joints i can see. Power steering fluid is at max. - If I jack up just the left front tire, its stable top and bottom, but left right allows the wheel to wobble. Looking underneath, the wobble is moving the rack and pinion link. - If I jack up just the right front tire, it is equally wobble left to right and only visible movement is the rack and pinion link. It's about 1/4" wobble. Given the mileage, I'm on the fence how much money I'm willing to throw at it for repair. What is the consensus here on the cause of the problem? Wondering if its multiple issue developing here, which wouldn't be a surprise given the age and mileage. Thank you in advance! | |||||

Follow the required gasoline recommended in the owner’s manual. Even though the ECU should compensate for a lower grade of fuel, it’s also possible you may get some knocking. . Before I knew about cars, I used to put 87 in my 91-required 2000 Acura Integra and it knocked. Once I went back to 91 no more knocking. . Now, before I research/buy any car I check to see what fuel is required, which factors strongly into my decision making. You want a performance car or a luxury car, you have to be able to afford the maintenance/repairs/premium gasoline most of those vehicles require. | |||||
| Should I buy an extended warranty | 0Relevance | 4 years ago | gmanesq | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi Scotty, Love your videos. I have a 2020 Lexus RX450H (Hybrid). I leased the car, but due to the pandemic and change in work schedule, my driving habits have changed and I only have 12,000 miles on the car. The lease is coming due in December. I am thinking of buying it off of lease instead of leasing a new one since the payments on a new one are almost double. My question is should I invest in an extended warranty from Lexus? The cost is about $3,200 for an additional 5 year/80,000. I am not worried about the mileage, but think the extra years could be worth it. I have a good mechanic, but I don’t think he works on hybrids much and I know hybrids can be costly to repair if something goes wrong. My salesman said, it’s a lexus, nothing will go wrong and don’t waste your money on the warranty. What are your thoughts? thanks, Gmanesq | |||||

| Hey Scotty. Last year I bought a lexus gs450h 2006 with 112,000 miles and a new hybrid battery fitted a year prior under warranty. I've started getting a P2797-865 code along with Check Hybrid System on the dash. Do you know anything about this and how I can fix it myself? Also, it is worth me changing the charcoal filter as part of a service. Thanks! | |||||
